This is a recent art project that took MONTHS of cutting magazines into bits and gluing until my fingers stuck together (literally).
It's based off of a Van Gogh called "The Postman Joseph Roulin", but our class christened him rupert. because come on, he has a green beard. that's so cool.
the pic's a little smudgy because i took it between classes while the thing was hanging in the gallery.. not the greatest light setting either. but i'm still proud.
wow...this is very cool. i know how it feels to clue so much your fingers stick together.....i make silly little mosaic thingys....from magazines, but they dont take nearly as long as this did. and instead of cutting the magazines with scissors, i use a hole puncher. i cheat!
Very nice job on this...it must of taken a lot of patience
you are too kind. and by the way, cutting out with a hole punch is by no means cheating... i can imagine that was extremely frustrating as well. and sorry it took so long to reply to your comment, but i really do appreciate it!
why thank you m'dear. i will try my darndest to get it in the litmag without seeming selfish and arrogant... it will be a task, and involve tricking mrs. lindquist into making the decision wihtout names.... hmm. but thanks again.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
